About Manvaya Dvara

The Gateway to the Architecture of Human Existence

Manvaya Dvara is a gateway to understanding how cosmic influences, individual characteristics, relationships and patterns of human existence come together. It is the home of the Dvara Method: a way of reading the birth moment through 64 dvaras, nine centres and the seven chakras.

What it shows

The Dvara Chart. The positions of the Sun, Moon and planets at your birth, and about 88 days before it, are mapped onto 64 dvaras arranged in the order of the I Ching's 64 hexagrams. The dvaras you carry, and the channels they complete, are drawn on the seven chakras of a seated yogi.
Transits and sync. The same chart overlaid with today's sky, or with another person's chart, to show which of your open dvaras are completed, and when.
Vedic and Western astrology. Sidereal (Lahiri) and tropical charts, dashas, gochara, Guna Milan and synastry.
Cultivate. The Dvara Method's teaching that a dvara you were not born with can be developed through contemplation, with an eight-week experiment to test it in your own life.
A printable PDF. Download your chart and its reading as a PDF to keep or print. It is made on your device, like everything else.
The diary. Record moods, actions and events; each entry is stamped with the sky at that moment, and the app tests honestly whether any pattern holds as your entries grow.

How to read it

Readings describe tendencies, for reflection. They are not predictions, and they are not advice for decisions about marriage, health, money or the law. Every reading shows both a gift and a shadow side.

Traditional judgments such as Guna Milan scores, Manglik and Sade Sati are shown as what the tradition says, without the cancellations and refinements an experienced astrologer would apply.

Your privacy

Your birth details, charts and diary never leave your device. All calculations happen inside the app on your phone or computer. There are no accounts and nothing is uploaded.
Because of this, clearing your browser data or changing devices erases your diary. Use the diary's backup option to keep a copy.
Anonymous counts. To learn whether the app is useful, it counts, once per day per browser, simple events such as "a visit" or "the Sync tab was opened". Only daily totals are stored on our own server: no IP address, no birth details, no diary content and no identifier.
If you write to us. If you join the report waitlist or send feedback, the email and message you type are stored on our server only to reply to you and to tell you about the report. They are never sold or shared. To have them deleted, send a feedback message asking for it.
No advertising, no third-party tracking and no cookies are used.

Paid reports

The app stays free. The printable Match Report is paid, by UPI.
After paying, you enter the UPI transaction ID, and your download unlocks at once on the same device.
Only the order code, the transaction ID and any contact you choose to give are sent to our server. Birth details never leave your device; the report is made there.
Refunds: if your report doesn't download, or you paid by mistake, send your order code through the feedback form in the app and we'll refund you in full.

Sources and credits

Planetary positions are calculated with Astronomy Engine (MIT licence) and agree with the Swiss Ephemeris to within a hundredth of a degree. PDFs are made on your device with jsPDF (MIT licence), and payment QR codes with qrcode-generator by Kazuhiko Arase (MIT licence). Hexagram names follow the I Ching tradition. Chakra details follow the classical tantric descriptions, which vary between texts. All interpretive texts, qualities and the Dvara Chart design are original to Manvaya Dvara.
