Manvaya Dvara › The 36 channels › Channel 20-34
Energy that wants to show itself through immediate action. Doing, constantly and visibly.
Links the Throat centre (Vishuddha) and the Life Force centre (Svadhisthana)
A channel is defined when both of its dvaras are present: dvara 20 (Contemplation) and dvara 34 (Great Power). Then both centres it joins, Throat and Life Force, become defined too. In the Dvara Method, defined centres are the stable, consistent parts of a person. The Throat centre governs expression and making things happen; the Life Force centre governs life force, work energy and fertility.
Busyness for its own sake; burnout; acting before considering others.
If you carry dvara 20 but not 34, or the reverse, the channel is open in you: the energy reaches out for its other half. The missing dvara can arrive through another person, which is one of the strongest kinds of connection between two charts, or through a passing transit, when the channel is defined for a few hours, days or months.
One of you carries dvara 20 and the other carries dvara 34. Neither has the channel alone; together it exists. This is the classic spark of attraction, and also a place of friction when either of you pulls back.
Both of you carry the whole channel. You understand each other here easily, and you may also reinforce each other's habits.
One of you carries the whole channel and the other carries one of its dvaras. The one with the full channel tends to set the pattern; the other may feel they have to adapt.
Only one of you carries this channel. The other experiences it through them, often strongly, and can learn from it or feel overwhelmed by it.
