Throat centre · Vishuddha chakra · hexagram 62 of the I Ching
Precise detail and naming. It turns the mind's understanding into clear facts and words.
Getting stuck in detail; small exceeding that becomes pedantry.
Every dvara has both. Which one shows depends on awareness, circumstances and the people around you, not on the dvara itself.
In the Dvara Method, if a planet sat in this 5.625° slice of the zodiac at your birth, or about 88 days before it, dvara 62 is part of your chart. It belongs to the Throat centre, which governs expression and making things happen, and sits in the Vishuddha chakra.
On its own it is an open dvara: a quality you have access to, but one that reaches for a partner. It completes a channel only when its partner dvara is also present: 17. That partner can come from your own chart, from another person's chart, or from a passing transit. When it does, the Throat centre becomes defined, and the channel's energy becomes a consistent part of you or of the relationship.

Opinions supported by facts. The urge to explain, structure and present ideas in an orderly way.
The Dvara Method teaches that a dvara you were not born with can still be developed through contemplation. The quality to cultivate here is: Care in small things: give extra attention to reverence, thrift and detail. The Sun spends about six days in this dvara each year (around 13 July to 19 July), and the Moon passes through it roughly every 27 days, which makes natural times to practise.

Dvara 62 occupies the same slice of the zodiac as hexagram 62 of the I Ching. If you know the 64 gates from Human Design, it corresponds to gate 62. The Dvara Method is independent and reads it in its own words.
