Manvaya Dvara › The 64 dvaras › Dvara 63
Vigilance after success: guard against trouble before it arrives.
Head centre · Sahasrara chakra · hexagram 63 of the I Ching
Healthy doubt. It questions whether things really fit, so that what is true can stand.
Suspicion of everything; doubt that turns against yourself.
Every dvara has both. Which one shows depends on awareness, circumstances and the people around you, not on the dvara itself.
In the Dvara Method, if a planet sat in this 5.625° slice of the zodiac at your birth, or about 88 days before it, dvara 63 is part of your chart. It belongs to the Head centre, which governs inspiration and mental pressure, and sits in the Sahasrara chakra.
On its own it is an open dvara: a quality you have access to, but one that reaches for a partner. It completes a channel only when its partner dvara is also present: 4. That partner can come from your own chart, from another person's chart, or from a passing transit. When it does, the Head centre becomes defined, and the channel's energy becomes a consistent part of you or of the relationship.
With dvara 4 · Inexperience in the Mind centre
Doubt turned into answers. A mind that tests ideas against what does not fit and looks for formulas that make sense of things.
The Dvara Method teaches that a dvara you were not born with can still be developed through contemplation. The quality to cultivate here is: Vigilance after success: guard against trouble before it arrives. The Sun spends about six days in this dvara each year (around 2 March to 7 March), and the Moon passes through it roughly every 27 days, which makes natural times to practise.

Dvara 63 occupies the same slice of the zodiac as hexagram 63 of the I Ching. If you know the 64 gates from Human Design, it corresponds to gate 63. The Dvara Method is independent and reads it in its own words.
