Manvaya Dvara › The 36 channels › Channel 30-41
Desire and imagination reaching for new experiences. Emotional fuel that starts new cycles of feeling.
Links the Emotion centre (Manipura) and the Root centre (Muladhara)
A channel is defined when both of its dvaras are present: dvara 30 (Clinging Fire) and dvara 41 (Decrease). Then both centres it joins, Emotion and Root, become defined too. In the Dvara Method, defined centres are the stable, consistent parts of a person. The Emotion centre governs emotions and feeling; the Root centre governs drive, pressure and adrenaline.
Expectations nothing can meet; desire that is never satisfied.
If you carry dvara 30 but not 41, or the reverse, the channel is open in you: the energy reaches out for its other half. The missing dvara can arrive through another person, which is one of the strongest kinds of connection between two charts, or through a passing transit, when the channel is defined for a few hours, days or months.
One of you carries dvara 30 and the other carries dvara 41. Neither has the channel alone; together it exists. This is the classic spark of attraction, and also a place of friction when either of you pulls back.
Both of you carry the whole channel. You understand each other here easily, and you may also reinforce each other's habits.
One of you carries the whole channel and the other carries one of its dvaras. The one with the full channel tends to set the pattern; the other may feel they have to adapt.
Only one of you carries this channel. The other experiences it through them, often strongly, and can learn from it or feel overwhelmed by it.
