Clarity: keep your inner light burning so it can light up the world around you.
Emotion centre · Manipura chakra · hexagram 30 of the I Ching
Burning feeling and desire for experience. It keeps the fire of longing alive.
Desire that can never be satisfied; expectations that burn out relationships.
Every dvara has both. Which one shows depends on awareness, circumstances and the people around you, not on the dvara itself.
In the Dvara Method, if a planet sat in this 5.625° slice of the zodiac at your birth, or about 88 days before it, dvara 30 is part of your chart. It belongs to the Emotion centre, which governs emotions and feeling, and sits in the Manipura chakra.
On its own it is an open dvara: a quality you have access to, but one that reaches for a partner. It completes a channel only when its partner dvara is also present: 41. That partner can come from your own chart, from another person's chart, or from a passing transit. When it does, the Emotion centre becomes defined, and the channel's energy becomes a consistent part of you or of the relationship.
With dvara 41 · Decrease in the Root centre
Desire and imagination reaching for new experiences. Emotional fuel that starts new cycles of feeling.
The Dvara Method teaches that a dvara you were not born with can still be developed through contemplation. The quality to cultivate here is: Clarity: keep your inner light burning so it can light up the world around you. The Sun spends about six days in this dvara each year (around 13 February to 19 February), and the Moon passes through it roughly every 27 days, which makes natural times to practise.

Dvara 30 occupies the same slice of the zodiac as hexagram 30 of the I Ching. If you know the 64 gates from Human Design, it corresponds to gate 30. The Dvara Method is independent and reads it in its own words.
