Manvaya Dvara › The 64 dvaras › Dvara 41
Simplicity: control anger, restrain desire and give up what is unnecessary.
Root centre · Muladhara chakra · hexagram 41 of the I Ching
The pressure to imagine new experiences. It contracts first, then starts a new cycle of desire.
Fantasy that replaces living; never satisfied with what is real.
Every dvara has both. Which one shows depends on awareness, circumstances and the people around you, not on the dvara itself.
In the Dvara Method, if a planet sat in this 5.625° slice of the zodiac at your birth, or about 88 days before it, dvara 41 is part of your chart. It belongs to the Root centre, which governs drive, pressure and adrenaline, and sits in the Muladhara chakra.
On its own it is an open dvara: a quality you have access to, but one that reaches for a partner. It completes a channel only when its partner dvara is also present: 30. That partner can come from your own chart, from another person's chart, or from a passing transit. When it does, the Root centre becomes defined, and the channel's energy becomes a consistent part of you or of the relationship.
With dvara 30 · Clinging Fire in the Emotion centre
Desire and imagination reaching for new experiences. Emotional fuel that starts new cycles of feeling.
The Dvara Method teaches that a dvara you were not born with can still be developed through contemplation. The quality to cultivate here is: Simplicity: control anger, restrain desire and give up what is unnecessary. The Sun spends about six days in this dvara each year (around 22 January to 27 January), and the Moon passes through it roughly every 27 days, which makes natural times to practise.

Dvara 41 occupies the same slice of the zodiac as hexagram 41 of the I Ching. If you know the 64 gates from Human Design, it corresponds to gate 41. The Dvara Method is independent and reads it in its own words.
