Manvaya Dvara › The 64 dvaras › Dvara 32
Constancy: stand firm and keep your direction through changing times.
Instinct centre · Manipura chakra · hexagram 32 of the I Ching
An instinct for what will last. It senses what is worth continuing and what is likely to fail.
Fear of failure that blocks change; holding on past the right time.
Every dvara has both. Which one shows depends on awareness, circumstances and the people around you, not on the dvara itself.
In the Dvara Method, if a planet sat in this 5.625° slice of the zodiac at your birth, or about 88 days before it, dvara 32 is part of your chart. It belongs to the Instinct centre, which governs instinct, health and timing, and sits in the Manipura chakra.
On its own it is an open dvara: a quality you have access to, but one that reaches for a partner. It completes a channel only when its partner dvara is also present: 54. That partner can come from your own chart, from another person's chart, or from a passing transit. When it does, the Instinct centre becomes defined, and the channel's energy becomes a consistent part of you or of the relationship.
With dvara 54 · The Marrying Maiden in the Root centre
The drive to rise, guided by an instinct for what will last. Turning effort into material and spiritual advancement.
The Dvara Method teaches that a dvara you were not born with can still be developed through contemplation. The quality to cultivate here is: Constancy: stand firm and keep your direction through changing times. The Sun spends about six days in this dvara each year (around 14 October to 20 October), and the Moon passes through it roughly every 27 days, which makes natural times to practise.

Dvara 32 occupies the same slice of the zodiac as hexagram 32 of the I Ching. If you know the 64 gates from Human Design, it corresponds to gate 32. The Dvara Method is independent and reads it in its own words.
