Manvaya Dvara › The 64 dvaras › Dvara 59
Dissolving rigidity: soften what has hardened and reunite what is scattered.
Life Force centre · Svadhisthana chakra · hexagram 59 of the I Ching
The power to dissolve barriers. It opens the way to intimacy and union.
Breaking boundaries too fast; intimacy without care.
Every dvara has both. Which one shows depends on awareness, circumstances and the people around you, not on the dvara itself.
In the Dvara Method, if a planet sat in this 5.625° slice of the zodiac at your birth, or about 88 days before it, dvara 59 is part of your chart. It belongs to the Life Force centre, which governs life force, work energy and fertility, and sits in the Svadhisthana chakra.
On its own it is an open dvara: a quality you have access to, but one that reaches for a partner. It completes a channel only when its partner dvara is also present: 6. That partner can come from your own chart, from another person's chart, or from a passing transit. When it does, the Life Force centre becomes defined, and the channel's energy becomes a consistent part of you or of the relationship.
With dvara 6 · Conflict in the Emotion centre
Emotional energy that breaks down barriers between people. Closeness, bonding and fertility in the widest sense, with both friction and warmth.
The Dvara Method teaches that a dvara you were not born with can still be developed through contemplation. The quality to cultivate here is: Dissolving rigidity: soften what has hardened and reunite what is scattered. The Sun spends about six days in this dvara each year (around 23 August to 29 August), and the Moon passes through it roughly every 27 days, which makes natural times to practise.

Dvara 59 occupies the same slice of the zodiac as hexagram 59 of the I Ching. If you know the 64 gates from Human Design, it corresponds to gate 59. The Dvara Method is independent and reads it in its own words.
