Manvaya Dvara › The 64 dvaras › Dvara 64
Careful discernment: distinguish things clearly and put each in its place.
Head centre · Sahasrara chakra · hexagram 64 of the I Ching
A mind full of images from the past. It holds possibilities until they make sense, before completion.
Confusion and mental pressure; trying too hard to make sense of things too soon.
Every dvara has both. Which one shows depends on awareness, circumstances and the people around you, not on the dvara itself.
In the Dvara Method, if a planet sat in this 5.625° slice of the zodiac at your birth, or about 88 days before it, dvara 64 is part of your chart. It belongs to the Head centre, which governs inspiration and mental pressure, and sits in the Sahasrara chakra.
On its own it is an open dvara: a quality you have access to, but one that reaches for a partner. It completes a channel only when its partner dvara is also present: 47. That partner can come from your own chart, from another person's chart, or from a passing transit. When it does, the Head centre becomes defined, and the channel's energy becomes a consistent part of you or of the relationship.
With dvara 47 · Exhaustion in the Mind centre
Mental pressure to resolve confusion. Images from the past sorted again and again until they make sense.
The Dvara Method teaches that a dvara you were not born with can still be developed through contemplation. The quality to cultivate here is: Careful discernment: distinguish things clearly and put each in its place. The Sun spends about six days in this dvara each year (around 4 September to 9 September), and the Moon passes through it roughly every 27 days, which makes natural times to practise.

Dvara 64 occupies the same slice of the zodiac as hexagram 64 of the I Ching. If you know the 64 gates from Human Design, it corresponds to gate 64. The Dvara Method is independent and reads it in its own words.
