Order out of confusion: keep going through messy beginnings and give them structure.
Life Force centre · Svadhisthana chakra · hexagram 3 of the I Ching
The energy that pushes something new through confusion. It can stay with a messy beginning long enough for order to appear.
Frustration and chaos when change won't come quickly; starting many things and settling none.
Every dvara has both. Which one shows depends on awareness, circumstances and the people around you, not on the dvara itself.
In the Dvara Method, if a planet sat in this 5.625° slice of the zodiac at your birth, or about 88 days before it, dvara 3 is part of your chart. It belongs to the Life Force centre, which governs life force, work energy and fertility, and sits in the Svadhisthana chakra.
On its own it is an open dvara: a quality you have access to, but one that reaches for a partner. It completes a channel only when its partner dvara is also present: 60. That partner can come from your own chart, from another person's chart, or from a passing transit. When it does, the Life Force centre becomes defined, and the channel's energy becomes a consistent part of you or of the relationship.
With dvara 60 · Limitation in the Root centre
Pressure for something new pushing through limits. Growth comes in pulses, where restriction and breakthrough take turns.
The Dvara Method teaches that a dvara you were not born with can still be developed through contemplation. The quality to cultivate here is: Order out of confusion: keep going through messy beginnings and give them structure. The Sun spends about six days in this dvara each year (around 16 April to 22 April), and the Moon passes through it roughly every 27 days, which makes natural times to practise.

Dvara 3 occupies the same slice of the zodiac as hexagram 3 of the I Ching. If you know the 64 gates from Human Design, it corresponds to gate 3. The Dvara Method is independent and reads it in its own words.
