Steadiness in danger: keep your virtue constant, like water that keeps flowing.
Life Force centre · Svadhisthana chakra · hexagram 29 of the I Ching
Commitment and perseverance. When it says yes, it goes through the depths and keeps going.
Saying yes to everything, and drowning in commitments that were never right.
Every dvara has both. Which one shows depends on awareness, circumstances and the people around you, not on the dvara itself.
In the Dvara Method, if a planet sat in this 5.625° slice of the zodiac at your birth, or about 88 days before it, dvara 29 is part of your chart. It belongs to the Life Force centre, which governs life force, work energy and fertility, and sits in the Svadhisthana chakra.
On its own it is an open dvara: a quality you have access to, but one that reaches for a partner. It completes a channel only when its partner dvara is also present: 46. That partner can come from your own chart, from another person's chart, or from a passing transit. When it does, the Life Force centre becomes defined, and the channel's energy becomes a consistent part of you or of the relationship.

Saying yes and staying with it. Discovery through full commitment to an experience and being present in the body.
The Dvara Method teaches that a dvara you were not born with can still be developed through contemplation. The quality to cultivate here is: Steadiness in danger: keep your virtue constant, like water that keeps flowing. The Sun spends about six days in this dvara each year (around 17 August to 23 August), and the Moon passes through it roughly every 27 days, which makes natural times to practise.

Dvara 29 occupies the same slice of the zodiac as hexagram 29 of the I Ching. If you know the 64 gates from Human Design, it corresponds to gate 29. The Dvara Method is independent and reads it in its own words.
